The Voice of Nature

One of the Three Leaf Sisters, second to arrive upon this world yet the first to indulge it with all of her senses–Eyriloef, or Wandering Leaf in Common, was born to the first-generation of female Roegadyn to the Haerkoen and Haerkoena within the Autumnsflame Keep upon Hyrthyml Haer-Isil.Her childhood was nothing if not eventful–as a patron of mischief, she laboured tirelessly to tire others labouriously; from a young age she displayed an affinity for manipulation of her surrounds, particularly that of illusion when coupled with one of her sisters. From concealment to mirroring appearances, her mastery of the crafts grew splendidly with age, and her repertoire of trickery followed swiftly after. While she bore fewer patriotic traits than her fellow siblings concerning their heritage, she was no less proud; to her, their past culture was, at times, more important than their peoples of the present, thus did she enjoy whittling her time away in solace, with her tomes to often keep her company.

Pursuer of deepest secrets

Originally schooled in the finest House of Healing, she saw great success in mastering the arts of breaking corruption, binds and fetters–no matter if physical, mental or mystical. This came at a cost of a much diminished interest for deeper healing arts, as her keen mind sought to first understand how to break ailments ere dealing with their aftermath. This eventually allowed her to venture outwards, upon the guidance of her Father–to seek out Nature and learn of the healing wonders that reside within enchanted forests and forsaken hollows. And thus, she ventured, spending many a summer traversing the width and breadth of their beautiful realm, to learn from the many peoples and, whimsically–the animals. In her travels and travails, she grew green and greener less, and though their scores were but few, within her Homeland she stumbled upon a handful of ruins, replete with relics and instruments of a bygone age. Images of worlds that once were and may've been flooded her mind, courting her curiosity–until her ravenous nature awoke to an unyielding desire; to unearth many and more worlds sealed in the past, and uncover the dusty mysteries their quizzical relics jealously guard. To her, the matter of materia bore little significance–from ancient Sea Wolf trinkets, garments, knick-knacks to fully-fledged ruins of archaic make, storied locations and fable-told realms, her scope was limitless. Thus, a natural scholar began to prosper within her soul......Revealing to her an ardent question, ever to stand at the forefront of her mind from thereon-after; who or what lived upon the island ere they arrived...?

The makings of a Lore-Master

Set upon this new path, new interests soon began to whisper to her mind. More and more frequent her outings grew, and all the more durable they became; for moons, she is said to have spent in the wilds, with naught but Sun, Moon and Star to provide companionship. In these wilds, first she had captured the friendship of a kind dove; then, a rabbit, and eventually, a bear. This trait did not escape the notice of others for long, and soon enough, her path had led her before the tall guildhalls of the Lore-Masters.

Entrusted to the chief Lore-Master of the School, she began her tutelage in earnest; honing her bond with nature, sharpening her understanding of communion and enriching her lore of how different animals responded to her whims. Her healing hand bettered a great deal too, though in truth, she still secretly laboured to perfect her understanding of how each enchantment may yet be broken. This, in turn, led to a twist of fates, and a notorious meeting with another School... Albeit not wholly one of learning.More summers came and went, and with them, so too did her mentor expire from their School–leaving the young prodigy to her own designs in full. Now, unfettered in full and unburdened by fickle notions such as 'duty' and 'responsibility', she roams the world once more...Or such were her designs, until her siblings' exploits brought upon her attention a whole new concept–that of aether. With her appetite for knowledge rekindled anew, her tinkering with the mind as we know it proceeded unhindered–and it is in such efforts that she devised a means to finally bridge the veil betwixt Eorzea and her own Home... Albeit, it is not known how. All that is known is that word has spread of an errant, heretofore unseen job stone stranding upon Eorzean shores......and of the calamitous currents flowing in its wake.

Personality

The Lady of Whimsy

A true middle child (and sister of six), her keen nature has always endowed her with an undying sense of curiosity–and worse yet, mischief. So far has this affliction grown, that it is the chief reason of why she lands in most of her unsavoury predicaments. As a patron of benign misery, she adores playing pranks at times upon the most unsuspecting of folk.Brimming with confidence, she exudes it the most when in the company of her many-legged companions. At times coarse, and reserving very little in word or deed, she values diplomacy little–and authority, even less.As a near-sage in her own right, she reserves full confidence equally when in her element–cures, fetters, and dispelling corruption being her forte when her mastery over the animal realm is placed on the wayside. Also, woefully literal. While not as temperamental as her brothers, she is not easily set off–but the Seventh Hell hath no fury like a redhead aggravated.

Her tune is light in calmness, upbeat, and her Soul-song painted with a signature thrum of levity, with plenty of natural sounds conveyed throughout–such as the billowing of leaves, air rushing through a wooden pipe, the chirping of birds.

OOC INFORMATION

Server: [Balmung]Eyriloef is a story-driven, complex character, and as such she is intended for M/RP scenarios by standardized definition. As such, ERP for the sake of ERP is neither welcomed, nor desired. Her carrd has intentionally been split into available and unavailable halves, as she is not like to be everyone's cup of tea, and that is more than understandable. As such, being a "limited RP character", she too requires a very particular audience to interact with her to ensure a seamless RP experience for all involved–meaning, she is picky with who she interacts.I'm an EU roleplayer, but I can adapt to more flexible playtimes and hours. Also, I'm a Tolkien nut. This deserves its own separate mention. You will come to understand why throughout a few RPs.
